Redneck Parade - A Place Called ChumucklaThe 2006 parade was nothing but wonderful, We got there early to see some sites, we paid our dues and got our number, we waited and watched for a long time, and that was ok, excitement filled the air while thousands of children and adults with a sweet tooth, and a reason to smile, waited and watched patiently. Finally the start was given, and the drivers, riders and walkers lined up for the expectation of a great parade. We were near the end around 112, it promised to be an exciting drive, we were trying to promote & by writing in all over our truck along with and to see all the smiling faces. The folks and their kids just enjoying the great day God gave us, we had never seen that many people in Chumuckla at one time before. Wow, it seem to last a long time, throwing candyout the windows, while playing "A country boy will survive" on the radio, andRedneck Parade - A Place Called Chumuckla yelling "Merry Christmas" to everyone through the PA system and out the windows. What A Great Day! It all came to a end at the Cotton Gin, we waited for a few minutes and headed back to the crossroads, some folks still laying in their easy-chair on their pickups, some still enjoying their roadside party. One things for sure, of the many ideas I've already had for next year, I'm sure I'll be there early. Email Parade pictures and I'll put them on as long as they aren't "Riskay".
Happy New Year
